A knitting and crochet meditation practice

Knit one, purl one, breathe.

Knitting and crochet are mindful practices. You can immerse yourself in the texture, the color of yarn, the repetition of the stitches, the rhythm of the pattern. But have you ever had a meditation practice around your craft? Holly leads you through a short meditation in the latest video.

  1. I laughed and laughed and laughed at the statement “It is very relaxing”.
I practice Integral Meditation on a daily basis. Mindfulness has become my way of life. BUT one thing I will not do is knit for no reason. Perhaps it stems from the fact that I have so little time to knit to begin with and I adore that time. Holly, I did try; honest I did. I like the idea of going to the park, enjoying the fresh air, getting in the zone and KNITTING (something specific). Shhh, don’t tell anyone.
